The Huron

The Huron is a completed six-storey modular mid-rise infill project located within a constrained urban site in Mississauga.

Architecture Unfolded led the project from rezoning and Site Plan Approval through construction documentation and contract administration, delivering a cost-effective residential building under tight budget and schedule constraints.

The project demonstrates a strong command of modular construction and prefabrication strategies, enabling efficient delivery while maintaining design quality. Building massing and planning were carefully resolved to integrate new residential density within an established neighbourhood context.

Constructed during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Huron required proactive coordination and flexibility to address procurement challenges and cost volatility. Modular construction played a critical role in minimizing labour disruption and maintaining project momentum.
