Eduardo A. Ortiz

Dipl. Arch., OAA, LEED AP Principal & Co-Founder

With over 20 years of experience in large-scale residential and mixed-use architecture, Eduardo Ortiz brings a design approach rooted in sustainability, pragmatism, and team collaboration. He has led the design and delivery of numerous high-rise and mid-rise projects from concept through construction, with a strong focus on affordable housing and custom residential developments.

Eduardo’s interest in environmentally responsive architecture began early in his academic career, culminating in a master’s thesis titled Kyoto-Friendly High-Rise, which was nominated for a Canada Green Building Council Award by the RAIC Syllabus. In 2009, he led a winning design team in a national seniors housing competition sponsored by the Atlantic Seniors Housing Research Alliance, earning praise for its practical integration of ecology and design.

Eduardo plays a key leadership role in shaping project direction, guiding sustainable design strategies, and fostering a collaborative studio culture. His commitment to thoughtful, efficient and community-oriented design continues to inform the firm’s work across Ontario.
