Adding 154 new rental homes to an established Mississauga property while retaining the existing apartment buildings.

Pacific Way is a 10-storey rental infill development at 3480 Havenwood Drive and 1485 Williamsport Drive. The property currently contains two nine-storey apartment buildings, both of which will remain.

The challenge was to add meaningful density to a constrained residential site while maintaining access, parking, servicing, landscaped areas, and consideration for neighbouring homes. Architecture Unfolded responded by positioning the new building along the western edge of the property, allowing the existing buildings to remain while making better use of the available land.

Architecture Unfolded developed the project from schematic design and led the architectural work through planning, municipal approvals, and the building permit process. The design adds new purpose-built rental housing while supporting the continued use of the existing residential property.
