The Humber

The Humber is a residential point tower set on a mid-rise podium, delivering affordable housing within a complex urban site along the Humber River corridor. Designed to meet Toronto Green Standard requirements and affordability benchmarks, the project balances density, sustainability, and cost-effective construction.

Architecture Unfolded led the project from rezoning and Site Plan Approval through construction and occupancy, navigating irregular site topography while integrating ground-related residential units to conceal structured parking and strengthen the streetscape. The design repurposes adjacent underutilized municipal land, establishing a precedent for future redevelopment and infill along the corridor.
